Friends of Lakeside Park is excited to announce a new photography contest that highlights the four seasons of the park through your eyes. We will be choosing two photos from each season to create a new pack of Friends of Lakeside Park Notecards. These notecards are then sold as a fundraiser at our various events throughout the year to support our mission and further events. If your photo is chosen, your name and photo will be displayed on the notecard and you will receive a free pack of notecards.

Contest Rules:

Please Read All Rules Before Submitting

•By August 31st, 2025, submit a digital file (JPEG or PNG) of Lakeside Park

•You may only submit TWO photos per season (Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall)

•Only original photographs of at least 300 dpi or at least 5×7” in JPEG or PNG format

•Obtain necessary release forms from people submitted in photographs. You are responsible for ensuring submissions are following all legal and copyright requirements

•All photographs, if edited, should only have a minimal amount of editing applied

•All photographs must be taken at Lakeside Park or Lakeside Park West, but can be from any year. We would love to see some historic photos of the park!

•You agree to release images to Friends of Lakeside Park for promotional and reproduction purposes in any media and perpetuity.

•The judging team for Friends of Lakeside Park is ineligible to participate in the contest

How to Enter:

•Only digital entries will be accepted, a maximum of TWO entries per season. Can submit to each of the seasons.

•Entries must be emailed to calendar@lakesidepark.org by Midnight on August 31st, 2025. Entries received after this deadline will not be eligible.

•Please title the email with the season you’re submitting for. In the body, include your name, mailing address, and phone number

•When emailing the submissions, please double check that the file size selected is the original size, not a compressed version. If it prompts you to select a file size, choose the largest file size. If both entries for the season don’t fit in one email, please split them into two separate emails.

Additional Information

•We will announce the winners on both our website and Facebook page, on or before October 31st, 2025. We will also email the winners individually.

•This contest is a promotion wholly organized and administered by the Friends of Lakeside Park.

•Entrants consent to the use, reproduction, and distribution of any information submitted, and understand that they are providing such information to Friends of Lakeside Park.
