Join us for Clean Up Days
Meet at Oven Island by the Main Shelter. Volunteer trash cleanup is a family-friendly event that welcomes volunteers of all ages. It is also the perfect opportunity for groups or individuals needing volunteer credits. Confirmation of Volunteer Service Forms will be available on site. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. There is no need to pre-register, simply show up! The Friends will supply gloves, trash grabbers and bags.
Friends of Lakeside Park 2025 Big Kite Day - June 22
Paint at the Peninsula
June 11th at 10:00 am
Friends of Lakeside Park will be gathering around the lighthouse to offer a painting session for kids of all ages.
Watercolors, brushes and markers will be provided and the painting will be yours to keep. Kids will have the option to paint a line drawing of the lighthouse or to create their own version of what they see. No need to register, simply show up. Kids under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. In case of rain or if the ground is too wet, the event will be rescheduled. The event will start at 10am and conclude by 11am
